Woodpecker

Welcome to Woodpeckers! We are a fun class of Year 1/2 children. Our teacher is Miss Lewis and our teaching assistant is Mrs Curtis. We also have support from Mrs Scotney and Mrs Edwards.

We've been having lots of fun in Woodpeckers! We have been on a special walk around the school comparing trees and taking bark rubbings as part of our plants topic. We have also made our own fruit salad and cut it all up ourselves. I hope you enjoyed your yummy fruit salad at home.

Miss Lewis

As part of our Jack and the Beanstalk topic we planted our own beans to keep in the classroom. We are watering and looking after them ourselves. There are no signs of growth yet but we will keep you updated!

Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. We have a very exciting term ahead of with our topic 'Pirates and Mermaids'. As part of this, rehearsals will soon be underway for our KS1 production- we can't wait!
