This term, we will be continuing our magical topic on Harry Potter. At the start of term 1, the children were sorted into their Hogwarts houses and they have started learning the sport of Quidditch in preparation for the Quidditch tournament at the end of the term! In term 2 we will be designing and making our own magical objects and food products, looking at packaging and advertising. We will be widening our learning to explore how witches have been perceived throughout history, taking a brief look at the Salem Witch Hunts.

Towards Christmas, we will be undertaking a short mini-topic on 'Where our Stuff Comes From' looking at consumerism and trading.
