We have made a brilliant start to the year and are really showing what fantastic learners we are. We started off by looking at the Ancient Mayan Civilisation. We learnt all about their beliefs and what daily life in Mesoamerica was like. We even discovered the tomb of a great King! We had to decipher the logograms to find out who was buried in the tomb and use the artefacts to find out about them. 

We have now moved on to our science learning for the term- electricity!

The following elections have now taken place

House Captains - (held on Friday 17th September. Candidates presented a speech  to their House.) Very well done to all who put themselves forward. 

School Council

Congratulations to our new School Councillors.  The first meeting is due to be held  within the next week.
