Term 6 - River Ganges Activity, Science and Local History. Lots of exciting activities this term!
Food Champions
The children have worked extremely hard during this term. The pinnacle of their work was seen when they prepared a Paxcroft Masterchef meal for Mr Caldwell, Mr Farrell, Mrs Bates and Mrs Evans. There were some very happy tummies by the end of the meal!
What an amazing end to a fabulous half term. The children were superb in their performances of The Jungle Book and I'm sure you'll agree with us when we say how proud we were of them.
As an additional treat we had a fun filled "I'm a Celebrity " themed afternoon which saw the children playing jungle games and completing some Bushtucker Trials. They had great fun and below are some of the photos to show a selection of the activities they participated in.

Term 4 - The Jungle Book
Welcome back to a fun-filled term. So far we have looked at The Slightly Annoying Elephant by David Walliams during Book Week and this was the topic of our brilliant class assembly!
We also completed work about Internet Safety which was displayed in the hall.
Over the remaining weeks we will be rehearsing for our production of The Jungle Book which will be performed during the last week of term. We also have another themed week based on Science to look forward to.
If you need to contact us at any time then please feel free to speak to us at the end of the day or make an appointment with the office if this is not convenient.
Term 3 - Rise of the Romans
What a fantastic topic! We really enjoyed the Roman marching and the opportunity to learn lots of facts at Caerleon.

Term 2 - Prehistoric Rock and Roll
Here we are already at the end of Term 2. A big thank you to all the parents who gave so much help with the Stone Age Homework. We had some excellent PowerPoint presentations, fantastic 3D models of caves and some delightful drawings and stories. Well done to everyone who helped!
Welcome back to Term 2...always a very busy term! Our topic is Stone Age to Iron Age where the children will learn lots of historical information as well as ending with a Stone Age party and fashion show. More details will follow.

Welcome to Swift Class!
What an exciting term this has been! We have delved into the world of Roald Dahl and not only learnt about his fabulous stories but also his life.
There was also the trip to Braeside which saw the Year 4's working as a team to conquer challenges and develop their independent skills, which I'm sure parents will see the benefits of at home...!
As we approach half term, can we remind you that if you need to speak to either Mrs Hurrell or Mrs Charlwood at any time, then the end of the day is usually the most convenient time.
