Join our friendly team at Paxcroft Primary School in Trowbridge as we seek a class teacher for KS2.

This role will be a full time, permanent position teaching a mixed age KS2 class (our structure is x3 Year 3/4 classes and x3 Year 5/6 classes), working alongside a passionate, innovative staff body as we strive to make the best possible impact for our children.

The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate some previous experience of teaching the KS2 curriculum
• Have high expectations of themselves and the children they are teaching
• Create a calm and purposeful learning environment, demonstrating a positive approach to behaviour management
• Encourage children to show initiative and challenge themselves
• Be committed to securing good outcomes for all children including children with SEND through accurate assessment, feedback and marking
• Be professional, a good communicator and demonstrate a flexible approach
• Be a strong team player
• Be a resilient and reflective practitioner
• Have a 'can do' attitude and a sense of humour
