Welcome back Osprey!
I am glad you have all had a good break and are ready to start a new term.It is good to see the enthusiasm for our new topic - 1066 and all that. See below for topic web. Osprey children will also have the opportunity to work on their choice of personal topic in one of our ICT sessions. They have all selected a topic that they wish to research and will be presenting their research in the very last week of term.
Please ensure PE kits are kept in school for the correct days and make sure you have a coat. Unfortunately, the wind is still cold. Finally, this is Sats term for our year 6 children. Whilst we do not wish pupils to become unduly stressed by these tests, children may wish to do some additional maths and spelling practice at home. I highly recommend the Woodlands Junior School website, which has a range of online activities.

Reading
I am often asked to suggest books/authors for both reluctant and omnivorous readers. I thoroughly recommend our local libraries and their website, which has a wealth of information and recommendations. Please see the link below.
