Hobbit Day at Oxenwood
Last week we took a trip to Middle Earth (Oxenwood) where we became Thorin's Dwarves for the day and followed Bilbo Baggins on his adventure to retrieve the treasure from Smaug the dragon. We took part in shield drill and learnt how to throw axes before coming face to face with giant spiders in Mirkwood. We met lots of the characters including Gollum and Gandalf and the day culminated in an epic battle with the Goblin King.
