WB 26.06.23

It has been yet another busy week in Year 3 and 4!  At the beginning of the week, we had a fun assembly led by the ‘Open the Book’ group.  In English, we have started to look at persuasive texts and the language used in them.  We have been learning about rhetorical questions and using emotive language to persuade.  In Maths, the different groups have been completing work on telling the time, plotting coordinates and decimals.  We have been learning more about the Ancient Egyptians and have found out all the gory details of the mummification process.  We then had great fun turning our friends into mummies! In Science, we investigated whether gasses could be weighed and we found out they could.  We have continued to practise for Sports Day and have read more of our class book – Varjak Paw.
