WB 16.01.23

In year 3/4 this week we have continued our learning around the Anglo-Saxon myth Beowulf. We have worked in groups to act out the beginning of the story and shown some great understanding of the story so far. In art this week we have had a great time making wire sculptures using pipe cleaners. There were some amazing examples of sculpture that will continue to inspire us on our sculpting journey this term. This week in class we have also focused on our citizen value of respect. The children have been sharing examples of what it means to be respectful from day to day and really trying to understand the importance of respecting others. Overall, a great week in year 3/4!
