What a brilliantly productive first full week back! We started the week by thinking about our ambitions and goals, then contemplated the steps needed to achieve these. RE day helped us to become more open minded, respectful and appreciative. We learnt about Islam and Sikhism, as well as why and how people follow influential leaders. We designed posters and symbols that reflected what makes a good leader and what we believe is important to us at Paxcroft. In addition to reading Charlotte’s Web, we have explored the story of Boewulf. The children have created their own mythical heroes and used superlatives to make their warriors sound like they’re best person to take on monsters. In maths, we have continued to expand our understanding of multiplication and division. Our History learning had us looking into why Britain was invaded.
