A bit of a different and short week; we had our transition day on Tuesday and welcomed our new classes into Swift, Skylark and Housemartin. It was lovely to meet the new children and start getting to know each other. We completed a range of activities and had an enjoyable day! The children showed fantastic positivity and resilience throughout the day and we are super proud of them for taking on the challenges thrown at them. We have continued our normal learning where possible. We have continued our writing to persuade unit, as well as a combination of units in Maths. We have begun to get very good with our ability to order ice creams in French; perhaps you could get your child to ask for an ice cream in French when the appropriate occasion arises. Final preparations for Sports Day: children need to come into school on Monday in their P.E kit.
