Our focus book for this term is ‘Stig of the Dump’ a novel by Clive King. During Book Week, we will be looking at the story 'Stone Age Boy' and will write stories based on this. The children will also be writing instructions later in the term. In Maths, we will continue to work on Multiplication and Division and will move on to a unit on Measurement and Fractions. Our History work for this term will continue to be based on Invaders.  Looking further into The Celts, Anglo Saxons and The Vikings. In DT, we will be making catapult cars.  The children will continue to learn to play the recorder with Mrs Farnell in music and will be learning about English history in French. This term the children will be putting on a performance of Roald Dahl's 'Jack and the Beanstalk'.  I'm sure you will be hearing the songs and helping to learn lines very soon! We will be grateful for any help you can give your child.  Remember the homework project is due in the week beginning March 6th. We are looking forward to seeing all of the children's creations.
