Our focus book for this term is ‘Charlotte’s Web’, a novel by E.B. White. In English, the children will be writing a myth/legend.  They will be looking at the story of Beowulf and basing their mythical story around this.  Later in the term they will be writing fact sheets about an animal. In Maths this term, we will be working on Multiplication and Division. Our History work for this term is going to be based on Invaders. We will be specifically focussing on the Celts, Anglo Saxons and The Vikings. In Art this term, we will be looking at the work of the artist Magdalene Odundo, a Kenyan-born British studio potter, who now lives in Farnham, Surrey. The children will continue to learn to play the recorder with Mrs Farnell in music and in PE will be practising throwing and catching skills.
