In English this term, we will be looking at Poetry and Newspaper Reports.  We will be reading 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes.

In Maths the children will be covering Addition and Subtraction before moving on to Multiplication and Division. 

We will be focusing on two main areas of learning this term through our topic work. To begin the term, we are exploring the Science unit of ‘Rocks and Soils’.   Our next unit of work will be a Design Technology based unit ‘Textiles’. 

We have a busy term ahead!  We will be having another RE Day this term as well as an Outdoor Learning Day.  This term will also include work on Anti Bullying Week and UK Parliament Week.  The Year 4 children are also going on their residential visit to Braeside.
