Falcon
A very warm welcome to Falcon Class!
We are a friendly, kind and supportive class of year 5/6 children. We are curious, energetic and kind. We thoroughly enjoy investigating our world and discussing what is happening in the news. We are taught by Mrs Sager and Mrs Larcombe is our Teaching Assistant. Mrs Pennington teaches in Falcon when Mrs Sager has her planning time.
P.E.
Falcon Class will have PE on a Monday and Thursday and should bring their P.E. kit to school on these days to change into; however, in order to allow flexibility in the timetable, please ensure P.E. kits are brought in to school everyday. P.E. kit consists of black joggers/shorts, a plain T shirt in their house colour and their Paxcroft jumper. Paxcroft hoodies are also available to buy for PE and other outdoor activities.
At Paxcroft, we firmly believe that reading fundamentally important to children's development. Regular reading with your child is a great way to support them with their fluency and comprehension skills. It is beneficial to vary the reading diet, getting a balance of fiction and non-fiction. I hugely appreciate the support you give your child in their learning and wholeheartedly believe that reading is at the heart of your child's learning.
