Join our friendly team at Paxcroft Primary School in Trowbridge as we seek an Early Years/KS1 cover teacher.This role will include PPA cover and leadership release as well as sickness cover across our Reception unit and three mixed age KS1 classes.

The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate some previous experience of teaching the Early Years and KS1 curriculum
• Have high expectations of themselves and the children they are teaching
• Create a calm and purposeful learning environment, demonstrating a positive approach to behaviour management
• Encourage children to show initiative and challenge themselves
• Be committed to securing good outcomes for all children including children with SEND through accurate assessment, feedback and marking
• Be professional, a good communicator and demonstrate a flexible approach
• Be a strong team player
• Be a resilient and reflective practitioner
• Have a 'can do' attitude and a sense of humour
