Day 2

The children had their early morning call from all the teachers this morning. They were shocked to see their teachers dancing into their rooms whilst they played some upbeat music to start the day right! We started the day off with a fantastic breakfast from Braeside staff (croissants and cereals!). Each group started their first activity some of these included: low ropes, life line, climbing wall, zip wire, crate stacking and problem solving.

We've just had a lovely lunch sat outside in the sun (woo!) and the children are enjoying some free time before this afternoon's activities. The children have been fantastic this morning and so many children have conquered fears and challenged themselves! We are very proud of them all already.

This afternoon, we have continued with our activity rotation from this morning. The children have been so resilient and positive even when faced with challenges that they didn't think they could achieve! It has been great to see so many of them out of their comfort zones.

This evening, we have enjoyed macaroni cheese and eton mess! Lots of very full tummies this evening (teachers included- we have eyes bigger than our bellies for sure!). We then went down to the fire pit to enjoy a campfire evening. We sang songs and played games all by the roaring fire. The children then came back to the house for a lovely hot shower, story time and bed time. We have much quieter rooms this evening- I have a feeling they may be tired!

Wow! Another amazing day with lots of fantastic life-long memories made. I know the children cannot wait to share them with you all.
