Computing

We have an ICT suite with enough workstations for each individual in a class, enabling each child in classes from FS2 to Y6 to develop good computing skills.  We also currently have 32 iPads and 16 pupil laptops to support learning in classrooms.  Each class also has a least one class PC.  The classrooms also have interactive whiteboards  at the front, to aid leaning through a wide variety of software.  We have 18 Kindles to support learning.

Children learn a wide variety of skills during their lessons; digital literacy -

understanding computer networks; coding - understanding algorithms and debugging; logical reasoning; using technology safely - including important messages about appropriate behaviour and safety on the internet and social networks.

Pupils also make films and animations using specialist software.
