  • Well done to Hannah and Dylan who have been voted at Osprey's School Council representatives this year!
  • Lots of you asked if you can play the game that we have been using in school to explore non-linear stories, 'The Pawn', at home. Click here to play online.

Week beginning- 2nd October
Week beginning- 11th September
This week we found Gollum,  a very mysterious character, lurking in depths of the Misty Mountains. Bilbo began the game of riddles with Gollum in order to be let through his cave and out into the light.

Week beginning- 4th September

Year 5 and 6 will be starting an 'unexpected journey' this September, which will allow them to discover vast lands and some gruesome creatures. To support our learning of journeys and rivers this term we will be exploring the story of The Hobbit. The children have made a great start to the term by recreating parts of Tolkein's Middle Earth as 3D models (pictures to follow soon). We are very excited for the coming year and look forward to sharing our successes with you.

During the first week we were lucky enough to bump into Bilbo and Gandalf in the school grounds. We watched as Gandalf invited 'the stay at home hobbit' Bilbo on an adventure full of excitement. We cannot wait for the rest of the story to unfold next week!
