To the parents and carers of all Housemartins,
I would just like to say a very well done to all our Housemartins for their hard work during this last term, particularly during the very hot weather.
Mrs Larcombe, Mrs Randall and I all wish you very happy holidays. Don't forget to take up the summer reading challenge at Trowbridge library - (I am hoping to be awarding merits for completed challenge cards in September)
Mathletics will continue to be available throughout the holidays and it is a great way to keep up those maths skills. Keep practising times tables facts! All children in year 3 and 4 were given copies of their final tests on the statutory word list, together with an explanatory note, so you can practise spellings as well, when the weather is not so great, or if you are looking for something to do.
May I take this opportunity, too, to say a very big thank you for all the support parents have given us this academic year? Also , a very big thank you to all for your kind cards and generous gifts.
Once again I hope you have a lovely, relaxing Summer.

Welcome back to the final term of this academic year, I hope you had a good holiday. For our last topic we will be investigating our Town, Trowbridge, and how it has changed throughout history. We will also investigate how our school has changed since it opened. Please see our curriculum web below for further details about our learning. Housemartins will continue to learn how to build lego models which we then program so that they meet specific design criteria. I have been incredibly impressed by how engaged they have been with this learning. Please enjoy looking at the photos displayed below.
