2016 and 2013-15 Assessment Results at Key Stage 2 (Year 6)

2016 Assessments

In 2016 the new National Curriculum, which was introduced in Sep 2014, was assessed for the first time using brand new tests and basis of assessment. Levels were no longer awarded and instead children were assessed as being below, expected or high. This means it is not possible to make comparisons with the 3 years of results shown below for 2013-15. As a school we were pleased with the 3 year positive trend between 2013-15 to be ahead of national figures in almost all measures. We aim to achieve a positive trend within the new system of measuring outcomes also.
